hey again,
just went for a boat trip today to an island on lake como which most of you will know because it was where the end of the latest james bond film was done. im talking about where he is in rehab and sitting in the wheelchair. the place is ausome, its a villa thats now owned by the italians but before hand was owned by this crazy guy who was an explorer, 21 expeditions and his house is full of artifacts from his travels, also has silk from como over the walls. the place is straight up baller! in his dieing wishes he said that the italians could have it if they maintained all the gardens by hand, and theres a heap of garden there, full time job fo sho. went over there on a little boat which nonna was trippen about but it was safe as. the guy who drove us told us about all the villas on the water, theres a villa there owned by richard branson, aswell as guiness, the guy who makes the beer. george clooney also has a villa here and is here atm playing golf. crazy places really to tell the truth.
yesterday we went to milan, for the rest of the guys they were all tired and would consider it the worst day of the tour fo sho, but i didnt mind it. theres a place there called the golden sqaure, its where all the designer labels are, so we went into the D&G store, which is 2 levels. they have guys in suits who open the door for you and say hello and goodbye, too far. also saw all the regular big names, the multiple Prada stores, georgio armani and gianni versace. Calvin Klein is like Target compared these bad boys LOL. got myself a really fat cigar today aswell, dopah!
tomorow we are leaving here, its been a mad place to stay, too posh though i have to say, still have a good time though. been drinking wine the last two nights aswell which is new and i dont mind the taste either.
also i finally understand now why nonno talks to everyone when we go to dinner back in aus, it seems that it is completely normal here, and although in the past i have always been embaressed by his over friendly attitude, i know see where it comes from and that its a good thing. the difference between aus and italy is that the italians really take to it, nonno and nonna always end out talking to the waiters, shop assistants, random jigs for a good 5 or 10 minutes, always make the people laugh here, whereas in aus the waiters just laugh and usually walk away without saying a word. nonna has also been laughing heaps since we started on the trip, i think she is excited to go back home. this has been really good to see them laughing and enjoying themselves here, especially since nonno has been stressing so much back home bout moving and rennovating there aptmt.
best be off, either venice or rimini tomorow cant remember
peace bishes

that sounds familiar now that you mention the James Bond 'Casino Royale' scene - cause some of those photos I can see that scene in my head.
It's good to hear that mum and dad are having a good time.. things must be nice for them as it's their home country, so seems familiar. I love hearing your stories, what about Nonna getting scared and stuff... Hope you're taking some video of them, and have enough media space to store it all. :)
Venice is totally awesome, no place in the world like it, can get a bit lost walking around there though... me and Luisa took a ferry out to the beach when we went. I know you don't like seafood much, but are the others eating much? Especially in their pasta?
